Fashion Update: Incredible shopping machine

SHOPAHOLICS in the US need only press a button on their television sets to satisfy their urges. Now they can also tune into Joan Rivers's new show, Can We Shop (as in Boy] Can she shop]).

The show is on every day and Ms Rivers sure knows her market, being herself a prime shopaholic who buys as much as she sells. Would you buy a frock from Joan Rivers? So far, her own useless buys have included the Incredible Knitting Machine (can you really imagine Joan Rivers sitting at home knitting socks on such a contraption?) and a vase that arranges flowers. There are no plans for a transatlantic cross- over just yet.
