Gal Gadot confirms pregnancy following Golden Globes fan speculation

‘Here we go again,’ the Wonder Woman actor wrote on social media

Gal Gadot confirmed on Monday that she is pregnant with her third child.

The Wonder Woman actor's announcement comes after fans began to speculate at the 2021 Golden Globes on Sunday night (28 February).

“Here we go again,” she captioned alongside a photo of her husband, Yaron Varsano, and their two daughters, Maya and Alma.

While presenting Best Picture - Foreign Language at the Golden Globes, Gadot wore a Tiffany & Co. Blue Book necklace and a loose-fitting, flowing Givenchy dress, prompting fans to wonder if she might be expecting.

“Gal Gadot is clearly pregnant, right?,” a fan wondered.

“Pretty darn sure Gal Gadot may be preggers” said another.

Gadot will soon reprise her role as Wonder Woman in a third instalment of the DC Comics franchise. The forthcoming film will be the third and final entry in the popular trilogy.

“We are excited to be able to conclude [Diana Prince’s] story with our real-life Wonder Women – Gal and Patty – who will return to conclude the long-planned theatrical trilogy,” said Warner Bros chief Toby Emmerich in a statement to Variety.

Emmerich also commended fans around the world for helping to drive “the strong opening weekend performance of Wonder Woman 1984”.

Any details surrounding the final chapter of the trilogy are currently unknown, with a release date yet to be announced.
