Each holiday season, Adele's of Hollywood, is the largest supplier of custom-made Santa Claus suits in the US. The costume shop provides malls and photographers with hundreds of red velour and white trimmed suits each season.

For 30 years, Adele Saidy, the owner of the shop, tailors suits to fit rotund Santa Claus bellies of all sizes. A basic suit costs around $400. The price of a higher-end design with hand beading, silver and gold embroidery, brocade vests, and fur trimming can run more than $2,500.

One of Saidy's regular customers Ron Robertson is the president of the Fraternal Order of Real Bearded Santas. He updates his six Santa suits at Adele's store with new jackets to add to his collection. Professional Santa customers often switch from off-the-rack suits to upgrade to real leather boots and custom designs because the quality outfits are more convincing to children that Santa is real.

In business since 1945, Adele's of Hollywood supplies the entertainment business, television and film studios, government, shopping malls, and individuals with costumes and accessories for all occasions, from Halloween vampires to Easter bunnies.
