Kim Kardashian West is the star of the new issue of Vogue - which rather appropriately for the women whose curves are famous worldwide, is dedicated to the body.

Kardashian West stars in the special edition in a racy shoot photographed by Ellen von Unwerth, with issues landing on newstands tomorrow.

The shoot took place earlier this year when the star was sporting a bleach blonde hairdo which fits conveniently with the idea behind the shoot which sees Kardashian West channel "a Marilyn Monroe version in 2015."

In one version of the cover image Kardashian West is pictured sporting a black cropped top and pencil skirt - a look which the star has made her signature.

In another image she is captured close-up channeling Monroe in nothing but a pair of long leather gloves.

In an interview accompanying the shoot the American star opens up about her career, telling the magazine: "I challenge anyone to try to do everything I do and then tell me whether or not I have talent."

Husband Kanye West is understood to have been involved "having accompanied the shooting closely, reinforcing how much he takes care of the image of his wife."

This is the latest major fashion coup for the star who earlier this year starred on the cover of Australian Vogue and also landed a coveted spot on the cover of the American edition alongside husband West.
