For fans of Miu Miu, it's been a long 18 months since the news broke that the house would be releasing a debut fragrance, so when it finally came to the big launch it was never going to be a quiet affair.

The fashion house took advantage of the fashion world flying into Paris to take in the autumn/winter couture offerings to stage a double whammy - the resort 2016 presentation and the long-awaited fragrance launch.

On Saturday night the Palais d'Iena was transformed into a Parisian nightclub where guests enjoyed drinks, dinner, a fashion show and special performances all scented with the new Miu Miu fragrance.

Unsurprisingly the event attracted an impressive guestlist from the worlds of fashion, music and film. Maggie Gyllenhaal, Elizabeth Olsen, Stacy Martin (who is the face of the new fragrance), Amber Heard and Kate Moss were among the guests.

As for the fragrance which launches nationwide on 1st September, you can expect a floral scent - think Lily of the Valley combined with a spicy, woody undertone.
