Rick Owens puts penises on show at Paris Fashion Week show
Fashion went full frontal at yesterday's Rick Owens show in Paris

It takes rather a lot to raise the eyebrows of the fashion press; baring in mind they've seen it all - quite literally. That was until yesterday's Rick Owens show which saw models sashay down the runway with their nether regions on show.
Owens staged his autumn/winter 2015 runway show in Paris yesterday, giving the audience a little more than they bargained for. (Warning: images below contain nudity – obviously)
Amongst a collection of military peacoats, capes and cable-knit sweaters were a series of looks featuring strategically placed peepholes, allowing models to let it all hang out.
Nudity on the catwalk is by no means unusual; nipples, bare breast and exposed bums are practically par for the course at certain womenswear shows.
Nipples were on-trend at London Fashion Week back in September when some of the capital's biggest names put them on show including Erdem, Christopher Kane and Tom Ford, but up until now menswear has stayed relatively nudity free.
Owens called this collection 'Sphinx' citing his inspiration as a French movie set in a submarine which may go someway to explain the porthole-esque gaps in the clothing.

Owens is known for his unusual approach to runway shows; in 2014 he enlisted a Step Dance team to take the place of models to showcase his spring/summer collection.
Social media has unsurprisingly taken the show in its stride with hashtags including "DickOwens" and "Freethepeen" trending.
"Nudity is the most simple and primal gesture – it packs a punch. It’s powerful. It’s a straight world now. It says something about being independent." Owens explained backstage.
"Who else can really get away with this stuff? It’s a corporate world! This was our private moment.”
