The V&A retrospective has led to a huge surge in sale of Alexander McQueen product online.

The opening of the eagerly anticipated Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibition last week at the V&A has led to a huge increase in sales of the brand.
The retrospective examining the work and inspiration of the visionary designer has inspired shoppers to invest in the label with sales on online auction site eBay, experiencing a surge.
Shoppers are looking to invest in some of McQueen's most famous commercial products including scarves, rings and leathergoods.
Silk scarves with the McQueen skull motif - a huge trend in the early noughties are now a hot commodity with eBay reporting a 213% increase in sales.
Similarly rings have proven a popular choice for buyers wanting to remember the British designer with a 257% sales increase.
It's not just the volume of McQueen product changing hands on eBay that has increased, so to has the price.
Increased demand around the exhibition has driven prices up by a reported 62% in the period between 3rd March - 14th March leading up to the exhibition's opening.
