The V&A played host to the fashion world last night with a glittering opening night gala for Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty.
One day after the end of fashion month, the fashion world flocked to London for the long-awaiting opening of the exhibition celebrating the life and work of visionary fashion designer Alexander McQueen.
Following its record-breaking run at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art, the exhibition was welcomed home to London last night in style.
Famous faces from the world of fashion, music and even the royal family attended the event in South Kensington last night.
Victoria Beckham attended alongside husband David. Models were out in force including Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss who appears in hologram form in the exhibition, Erin O'Connor and Eva Herzigova. Singer FKA Twigs made an appearance in a spectacular rainbow coloured feather gown.

Moss also chose the occasion to pay tribute to the late designer with the recreation of a dance she performed in 2004 for the Black Show.
She appeared alongside the Michael Clarke dance troupe who were all appropriately dressed in McQueen's bumster designs.
The exhibition which has already enjoyed record breaking advance sales, opens to the public tomorrow.
