Julia Roberts tops People magazine's Most Beautiful People list for the fourth time after being signed as the face of Lançome at the age of 42.
Other women featured on the annual beauty barometer include Halle Berry and Angelina Jolie as well as Zoe Saldana, who is the new face of Avon, L'Oréal spokesmodel Scarlett Johansson, and Jennifer Aniston, who recently announced she would finally launch her own fragrance, Lolavie.
Jennifer Lopez also makes the cut, and together with Berry, Jolie, and Roberts, she makes for a refreshing, more mature trend on the list (even though young stars like Amanda Seyfried, and even Justin Bieber on the men's side, were also included).
The inclusion of Kelly Osbourne suggests a welcome trend towards 'unconventional beauty,' which is in tune with Hollywood's recent efforts to recruit more 'real-looking' actresses.
Actor George Clooney summed up the new zeitgeist, telling People why he thinks Julia Roberts is still considered the fairest of them all: "It has nothing to do with the way she looks. It has everything to do with who she is."
On the men's side, Channing Tatum, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Bradley Cooper all made the list.
