Weekly fashion agenda: cruising in Saint Tropez

It's a tough job but someone's got to do it: just barely recovered from the Met Ball, the who-is-who of the fashion elite is moving on to Saint Tropez in the south of France, where King Karl will present his annual Cruise Collection for Chanel (and many a socialite will use the opportunity to stop by at the Cannes Film Festival, starting the same week).

After showing last year's Cruise range at the Lido in Venice, Chanel head designer Karl Lagerfeld is inviting a selection of VIPs to the iconic Cafe Senequier in St Tropez to take in one of the most-anticipated shows on the international fashion agenda. A new short movie starring model Heidi Mount and French actor Pascal Greggory will be shown on the occasion.
