Celebrity wake-up calls and free short stacks on February 23

In honor of National Pancake Day, created by IHOP (International House of Pancakes), an American chain restaurant with locations across the United States, Mexico and Canada, all IHOP locations will be serving free short stacks from 7-10am on February 23.
IHOP began this tradition in 2006 and has to date raised $3.25 million (€2.2 million) for various charities. The short stack, three buttermilk pancakes, is free but IHOP does ask for a donation in-kind for Children's Miracle Network, an organization that supports children's hospitals and life-saving research for a spectrum of diseases. IHOP and CMN hope to reach $5 million (€3.6 million) in 2010.
If you need some help waking up in time for the free pancakes, requests can be made for a wake-up call from Steve Young, NFL Hall of Fame player; Caressa Cameron, Miss America; Marie Osmond, entertainer and Children's Miracle Network co-founder or Monique Coleman, performer from High School Musicals.
