£2,000 white Creme Egg never found, Cadbury reveals
The money could still be won

When Cadbury announced it was releasing a limited number of white chocolate Creme Eggs which would win lucky finders cash prizes, there was much excitement.
There were just 371 of the eggs spread out across various shops, and the top prize egg - which would win the owner £2,000 - was in a branch of Co-Op.
But according to the confectioners, no one ever found the egg and claimed the £2,000.
The competition was launched at the beginning of the year to mark the start of the Easter season, but it was announced the eggs would only be distributed in stores until the beginning of April.
There were 34 eggs worth £1,000 in circulation and there has been one case of a person claiming one of the prizes, but apparently no one has won the top prize.
Cadbury announced on Tuesday that if anyone had found the egg, they had until 5pm on May 1 to come forward.
On Wednesday, however, it was revealed that the egg had not been found.
“We are thrilled the White Creme Egg campaign continues to excite and are already planning for another great hunting season next year,” a Cadbury spokeswoman said.
“Although the final day for White Creme Egg winners to claim their prize passed on May 1 and the £2,000 prize was not claimed, if someone comes forward with the winning egg we will look at it on a case by case basis.
“We know our fans may have some eggs left over from Easter so we would encourage them to check their cupboards and see if they have the winning egg!”
White chocolate deliciousness and the winnings could be yours yet.
