Ferrero Rocher ice cream sticks are coming to the UK for summer

Ferrero Rocher chocolates, which feature a hazelnut covered in wafer and chocolate are a much-loved sweet treat.

Now, Ferrero has announced it will be releasing some of the favourite confectionary items in ice cream form in the UK this summer.

In a first for the company, The Ferrero confectionery group has created Ferrero Rocher, Ferrero Rocher Dark and Raffaello ice cream sticks.

The circular ice cream sticks have been released across Europe this spring in five countries initially. The UK will be included in the wider roll-out of the product to come.

Ice cream recipes have been in development by Ferrero in their food labs in Alba, Italy for years, with the ranges now being produced in Spain.

This latest invention will include the same textures and flavours that fans of the classic Ferrero Rocher chocolates enjoy, including a crunchy chocolate shell with roasted hazelnuts pieces and hazelnut-infused ice cream, with a rich cocoa and hazelnut swirl throughout.

The Ferrero Rocher ice cream comes in both milk and dark chocolate.

Fans of the Raffaelo can expect the same tasty flavours of coconut and almond, with a white chocolate shell covered in coconut and almond pieces, with coconut flavoured ice cream inside.
