The Four Seasons hotel group has announced plans for a Twitter-based wine tasting event anybody can join in November.

The hotel brand is wheeling out three of its top sommeliers from North American hotels to give participants a taste of three types of wine without so much as leaving the house.

The event, scheduled for 7 PM EST on November 17 (midnight UTC November 18), will be led by Dana Farner of Los Angeles's famous Beverley Wilshire hotel, James Tidwell of the Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas, Texas and Mark Sayre of the Four Seasons Hotel Austin, Texas.

The featured wines are Dr. L Riesling by the Loosen Bros., Paraiso Syrah and Chappellet's Mountain Cuvee, which will be discussed by the experts who will post their comments to Twitter with the hashtag #FSWine.

Tweeters will be able to ask questions at the end of the event and get advice on how to pair the wines with foods during the holiday season.

Four Seasons will also be hosting "Tweetups" at its properties throughout the US and Canada, including Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta; Four Seasons Hotel Austin; Four Seasons Hotel Boston; Four Seasons Hotel Chicago; The Ritz-Carlton Chicago, A Four Seasons Hotel; Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas; Four Seasons Hotel Houston; Four Seasons Hotel Miami; Four Seasons Hotel New York; Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach; Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia; Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis and Four Seasons Hotel Toronto.

For those that can't wait for the Four Seasons event, there are other Twitter wine tasting clubs out there: try http://www.tweetawine.com/ or http://www.winetweets.com/ for more information.
