It’s been a big week for Big Mac lovers. Not only has McDonald’s announced the launch of its new Grand Mac and Mac Jr burgers - a bigger and smaller version of the original - but it’s now giving away bottles of its famous sauce, for free.

As any devout Big Mac fiend knows, the special sauce is inimitable - and despite the double-decker burger not changing much in nearly 50 years, it’s appeal endures.

While the company sold its first bottle of Big Mac sauce last year for £12,000 on eBay, it has remained out-of-reach for the wider public. Until now.

To celebrate the two new variations, McDonald’s will be giving 10,000 bottles of Big Mac sauce away for free starting tomorrow but, there’s a catch.

Unfortunately, this offer is only available at selected stores, and through its social media account, in America only.

Meaning that unless you live there - and lots of Independent readers do - or are visiting, this could all just be a pipedream.

That being said, McDonald’s did sell smaller bottles of the sauce at restaurants across Australia at one point so don’t give up all hope just yet.
