Mean Girls (2004) : 'Why are you so obsessed with me'

A London restaurant is celebrating 15 years since the release of Mean Girls with a limited-edition pink menu.

In honour of the film’s iconic sentiment, “On Wednesdays we wear pink”, Twisted London is offering the special menu for one day only - on Wednesday, 1 May.

The menu, which has been teased on Instagram and Twitter, will feature items such as a vegan hot dog with crispy onions, pickled red cabbage, and edible glitter.

“We PROMISE no hot dogs were made out with during the making of this tasty treat,” the restaurant wrote on Instagram.

Pink “fetch cheesy fries” made from three cheeses and heart-shaped pink glitter will also be available, as will a colourful cake made of “rainbows and smiles” and a glittery burger.

The “weird Swedish nutrition bars” used in a plot against Regina George will be on the menu as well, in the form of protein bars made from chocolate and coconut.

The Mean Girls-inspired menu will only be available through Uber Eats delivery from the restaurant’s Bethnal Green site.

On social media, the various pink offerings have been met with mixed reactions.
