A horrified customer allegedly found a chicken's head in their meal at a fast food restaurant.

Images and footage of the deep-fried head were shared online through LiveLeak.

The person who uploaded it claims their friend found the "disgusting" head in their chicken wings meal at a Quick restaurant in France.

In the video, the bird's beak is clearly visible beneath the batter.

Over 50,000 people have watched the video so far.

"At least you know it's real chicken," one optimistic commenter wrote.

KFC recently launched an inquiry after ice from the fast food chain was found to have bacteria from faeces in it.

The fast-food company said it was "extremely disappointed" by the findings.
