We use a lot of pomegranate in our recipes in the restaurant, and I love its fresh, crunchy texture. Moscato d'Asti is a delicious dessert wine from southern Piedmonte. After midnight mass in Italy, we'd have a family get-together and we kids would dip a piece of panettone in the moscatel and get a bit pissed – fantastic!
200ml fresh pomegranate or juice
200ml Snow Queen vodka
40ml sugar syrup
40ml Saracco Moscato d'Asti
Shake the pomegranates and vodka with with ice and pour into glass. Top up with the Moscato d'Asti.
