Garnacha Olvidada de Aragón 2012

Made from ancient Garnacha vines, then aged in old oak barrels, in the hot Aragon region of central Spain, flavours of damsons, dried fruits and chocolate dominate, with subtle hints of spice from grapes that have been baked in the sun. This would be gorgeous with a butterflied and garlickly leg of lamb or any kind of roast bird.
