Red Dead Redemption 2 - Official Gameplay Video

The vast world of Red Dead Redemption 2 will need just as vast a space on your console.

The game will take up 105GB of space on the PlayStation, and will presumably be just as large on the Xbox.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will finally arrive next month, with the online version coming a month after. And in the run-up to the game, details have appeared on the PlayStation store that make clear just what the game will be like.

As well as the size of the game, it makes clear that PlayStation players will get access to "timed exclusive for 30 days".

And it says that the multiplayer part of the game will be open to 2-32 people. That's two more than GTA Online, which still continues to draw plaudits for its vast multiplayer world and the grand multiplayer experiences that it can support.

It isn't clear why the new game takes up quite so much space. But developers have made much of the size of its world, and it will be entirely playable in 4K.

Both the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 come with 500GB of memory, though they can be upgraded.
