Health Update: Miscarriage risks
OLDER women on their second or third pregnancy face no greater risk of miscarriage than younger ones, say Swedish researchers. The risk of a late miscarriage is thought to be doubled in women over 35 who are pregnant for the first time, but the study, involving more than 200,000 women, and published in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, found no greater risk in subsequent births.
