CHINESE food can be more unhealthy than burgers and chips, says a consumer group in Washington. It found that a portion of stir-fried chicken and peanuts contained more than three times as much fat as a McDonald's quarter pounder, while a dish of pork, vegetables and egg was laden with fat and sodium. Restaurateurs, however, say the report overestimates the amount of each portion people eat, reports New Scientist.
