When a graphic designer learned that his wife was pregnant with their first child, the elated dad-to-be couldn’t help but get creative and decided to document the 9-month build-up with an adorable time lapse video.

The video, shot by Byron Louie, shows Monique Pham Louie standing with her side to the camera in a bedroom as her belly gradually grows.

In 90 seconds, viewers see the joys of preparing for a new-born, as the couple discover they’re having a boy, gradually transform the bedroom into a nursery for their son, and buy him tiny outfits.

The couple’s dogs Dunder – who starred in a viral video as a pup – and Munster also appear in the video, as they plod around while the baby grows.

The clip even depicts the moment Monique goes into labour, with Byron grabbing the hospital bag and telling the dogs to behave while their gone.

Monqiue and Byron return seconds later, brimming with pride as they introduce their son to his room and the family’s pets.

“Welcome home, son,” the heartwarming video concludes.

Sharing the video on Dunder’s YouTube page, Byron wrote: “When I found out my wife was pregnant, I thought it would be a great opportunity to capture her growth via photography, but what I really started to notice was how things started to change around me.

“The baby is here and we are ready to share our video with the world. Hope you enjoy it! We had a lot of fun making it.
