The death toll in the swine flu pandemic has risen to at least 13,554, up 755 from a week ago, the World Health Organisation said Friday.
According to the latest data posted by the UN health agency, the Americas region recorded the biggest number of fatalities with at least 7,016 deaths since April.
Europe reported that at least 2,788 people died from the A(H1N1) virus.
