Pregnant Hilary Duff is in quarantine after being ‘exposed to Covid’

Actor is expecting her third child with husband Matthew Koma

Hilary Duff has revealed that she is in quarantine after coming into contact with someone who tested positive for coronavirus.

The pregnant actor, who is expecting her third child with husband Matthew Koma, shared the health update with her fans on Instagram stories on Saturday.

Alongside a selfie of her rolling her eyes while wearing a grey hoodie, the 33-year-old confirmed that she was on her second day in self-isolation.

“Exposed to Covid,” she captioned the image. “Quarantine day 2. Fml.”

Duff didn’t provide her fans with anymore details about how she became exposed to to the virus. However, she has recently been filming the seventh season of her TV series Younger in New York.

Now, the actor has had to postpone her work commitments for the next 14 days, as per the state’s coronavirus guidelines.

The Lizzie Maguire star announced her third pregnancy in October by sharing a boomerang video of her husband rubbing her growing baby bump.

She captioned the post, “We are growing!!! Mostly me.”

Koma also shared the same video on his own Instagram account, writing in the caption: “Lol quarantine was fun. Baby #3 - 2021.”

Many of the couple’s fans and famous friends left messages of support in the comments section of their posts, including actor Mandy Moore, who wrote: “Yay!! The best news!!! Love you two and can’t wait to be mamas together!”

The baby will be Duff and Koma’s second child together. They welcomed a daughter called Banks in October 2018, and the actor has a son called Luca from her previous marriage to Mike Comrie.

The couple got married in 2019 in a secret wedding, which they later shared on social media.
