A Day That Shook The World: Barings Bank collapses

On 26 February 1995, Britain's oldest merchant bank suddenly collapsed with more than £1bn in debts.

Investors, including the Royal Family, were left stunned as a lurid story of fraud and mismanagement by 28-year-old Barings trader Nick Leeson unfolded.
