House on the market despite giant pole obstructing the driveway
You can't miss it

A large pole standing tall in the middle of your driveway is not exactly the first thing you’d look for when you’re house-hunting.
However, a house is on the market featuring just that.
Presumably targeting a rather niche market of potential property buyers, the pole-obstructed home is for sale in Black Country, Birmingham for £370,000.
Despite no images of the offending pole featuring on the estate agents’ website, pictures of the five-bedroom house and its unusual feature have been widely shared online, prompting a slew of mocking comments.
“Good for a pole dancer,” wrote one user.

Whilst it would take some serious parking skills in order to move one’s car into the driveway, the unique property does boast some other appealing features, including double-glazed French doors, a patio and a conservatory.
Situated on the busy Lichfield Road in Walsall, the detached house is in a "highly sought after location," according to the estate agent's website, and is close to local schools and has good transport links.
Naturally, photographs of the house as it appears on Acorns & Co's website do not show potential buyers that there also happens to be a rather large pole obstructing their driveway, saving it as a surprise for visitors.
However, potential buyers won’t be put off for long, as a spokesperson revealed to the Birmingham Mail that the pole will be “moved next week,” making the driveway accessible after all.
How mainstream; avant-garde house-hunters everywhere will be devastated.
