In Thing: Farah trousers

Last seen on mods with Ben Sherman shirts to match, John Travolta in

Saturday Night Fever and golfer Paul Nicholas in the Eighties, tacky,

groovy bum-suffocating Farah

polyester trousers are back. Funky young things all over town are being spotted in these sharp, action slacks.

While Seventies Farahs were plain and understated, the Nineties

revamped version come in dogtooth, pinstripe and even stretch denim. Still included in the design are their hall mark 'frog' pockets and swirly 'F' for Farah tabbed logo. While some may be

dubious about this recent Seventies revival, others are very sure about these trews and their claim to taste: Ronnie Corbett, DJ Ed Stewart and Brighton Football team for a start. Retailing at a slim-hipped pounds 29.99, Farah's are a basic bargain buy. Go get.

Farah trousers are available at major retail outlets.
