Katie Price has spoken about being a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, including being raped when she was just seven.

The 42-year-old also spoke about a photographer who took indecent images of her when she was just 12 after she had begun modelling.

Speaking on Annie Macmanus’s podcast Changes, Price said: “I was raped as a kid at seven, that’s from my first book, I was in a park.

“Then I got involved with this photographer who ended up being in prison and he was obsessed with me. He took indecent photographs that I thought was innocent at the time.

“He’d take photos of me sticking my tongue out, which looks like young and girly but he’d look at them as sexual.

“He’d make these milkshakes, I never took one because I didn’t like them but the police when they came round to see my mum, that’s what he did – he’d make girls drink that, drug them and then do pictures of them."

Price said that during the period between these two incidents someone also "tried to get me in their car".

Last year, the former glamour model spent time at The Priory, a well-known rehab facility, after experiencing suicidal thoughts.

She said that, during her time in therapy, she realised that some of her emotional problems were linked to her dad leaving her family when she was a child.

She recalled: "I was too young to remember but subconsciously it’s there. So they worked out the reason why I jumped in and out of relationships, it’s wanting that father figure because they’ve always let me down."

Fans recently began speculating that Price was pregnant with her sixth child after she uploaded photos to Instagram showing her cradling her stomach and thanking her boyfriend for being “part of me”.

However, a few days later, the star refused to confirm the pregnancy, telling TV host Steph McGovern: “I’ve put on weight. Anyone can speculate what they like. Pictures can be deceiving in lots of different ways.”
