Lesbian and Gay Pride has covered its costs for the march and festival in Brockwell Park on the weekend of 18-19 June. Preliminary accounts suggest that sponsorship and an on-the-day collection of pounds 46,242 will more than meet the pounds 170,000 bill for staging the event. Pride Trust, the organisers, estimate the festival was attended by 160,000 people.
