Game of Thrones star wears floor-length Louis Vuitton gown for second wedding ceremony

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have shared the first official photograph from their star-studded wedding in France.

The picture, which was taken by wedding photographer Corbin Gurkin, shows the newlywed celebrity couple walking down the aisle after exchanging their vows at Château du Martinay in Carpentras, south France.

The Game of Thrones actor and the singer both shared the picture on Instagram in the early hours of Thursday morning with identical captions: “Mr and Mrs Jonas.”

Turner is pictured wearing a white, floor-length, embellished gown by luxury label Louis Vuitton, while Jonas dons an all-black ensemble by French fashion house Berluti.

The bride wore her hair down and tucked behind her ears underneath a delicate veil.

The couple's chosen wedding location is a historic estate originally built in the 18th century, and then rebuilt in the 19th century after being burnt down during the French Revolution.

Nicholas Ghesquiere, artistic director of women’s collections at Louis Vuitton, shared a close-up look of Turner’s wedding dress on Instagram.

“Absolut beauty,” Ghesquiere wrote in the picture’s caption, which reveals the open-back design of the 23-year-old’s gown.

Several of Turner and Jonas’ celebrity friends commented on their Instagram posts wishing the couple congratulations on their wedding.

“IT WAS SO GORGEOUS!!! Loved it,” wrote Ryan Tedder, lead vocalist of band One Republic.

“Sophie Sophie… more than I can take,” commented Lena Headey, Turner’s Game of Thrones co-star.

“So beautiful, what a woman. Happy happy days to you both.”

Turner and Jonas’ celebrated their nuptials in France over the weekend, it was reported earlier this week.

The occasion was the couple’s second wedding ceremony, having married in a surprise Las Vegas bash in May.

Behind-the-scene looks of their first wedding emerged online after one of their guests, DJ Diplo, shared videos from the ceremony on Instagram.

Jonas later joked that Diplo had “ruined” their wedding by filming it without permission.

On Sunday, the DJ shared a photograph on Instagram of himself dressed smartly for the second wedding.

In the caption, Diplo claimed that this time, Turner and Jonas had his phone confiscated.

"This is the only photo I got from Joe and Sophie Turner Jonas' wedding because they took my phone from me and put [it] in a holding cell during the ceremony,” the musician wrote.
