Megan Fox has opened up about her intense relationship with Machine Gun Kelly in the couple’s first joint interview, during which she said they were “two halves of the same soul”.

On Wednesday, the couple discussed their first meeting and instant connection on Lala Kent and Randall Emmett's podcast, Give Them Lala ... With Randall.

During the interview, Fox recalled first finding out Machine Gun Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker, would be her co-star in the upcoming movie Midnight in the Switchgrass, and feeling that some “wild s**t was going to happen to me from that meeting”.

Speaking to Emmett, who directed the movie, Fox said: "I was like: 'Who is going to play this role?' And he was like: 'Oh, we just got Machine Gun Kelly,' and immediately, I was like: 'Uh oh.’”

“Because I knew - I could feel that some wild s**t was going to happen to me from that meeting, but I wasn't yet sure what. I just felt it like, deep in my soul - that something was going to come from that," she continued. "So then, we met on set."

According to Fox, who separated from her husband of 10 years Brian Austin Green in May, when she met Kelly she knew “right away that he was what I call a twin flame”.

“Instead of a soul mate, a twin flame is actually where a soul has ascended into a high enough level that it can be split into two different bodies at the same time,” the Transformers actress said. “So we're actually two halves of the same soul, I think. And I said that to him almost immediately, because I felt it right away."

During the interview, the 34-year-old recalled inviting Kelly into her trailer on the second day of filming to go through his astrology chart with him.

"I asked him to come into my trailer for lunch, and I put him through all of this astrology stuff. I went deep right away. I knew before I even did his chart, I said to him, he has a Pisces moon. I could tell by his energy,” Fox said.

According to Kelly, he also felt the connection with Fox, explaining that he used to wait “outside on my trailer steps, every day ... to catch one glimpse of eye contact."

"She would have to get out of her car, and walk from her car to her trailer. There were, like, five steps between the car and the trailer. And I would just sit there and hope," the 30-year-old said.

In May, Green discussed Fox’s relationship with Kelly on his podcast ...With Brian Austin Green, where he said the pair were “just friends”.

“She met this guy, Colson, on set ... I’ve never met him," he said. "Megan and I have talked about him. They’re just friends at this point.”

"I trust her judgment, she’s always had really good judgment," Green added. "I don’t want people to think her or he are villains or that I was a victim in any way."
