Meghan Markle's engagement ring first look
The stunning ring is rumoured to have been made from Princess Diana's diamond brooch
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have made their debut public appearance as an engaged couple, after news broke this morning that the pair would marry in Spring 2018.
The duo were photographed at the White Garden in the grounds of Kensington Palace, with Markle pictured wearing her engagement ring for the first time.
Though no official details surrounding the ring have been released at this stage, the stunning piece of jewellery is rumoured to have been designed by the Prince himself and is made from diamonds that belonged to his late mother, Princess Diana.

From the photographs, the ring appears to be an aptly-named princess cut with surrounding baguettes and a yellow gold band.
Markle's ring is very aesthetically unique, given that most engagement rings with white diamonds are set in white gold or silver bands.
The official engagement statement, which was released by Clarence House at 10am, revealed that the couple got engaged earlier this month and will live together in Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace.
An official date for the impending royal wedding has not yet been announced.

For the newly-engaged couple's first photo call, the Prince paired a navy blue suit with a white collared shirt and a dark blue tie.
His perennially stylish fiancée opted for a white wrap coat by Toronto-based brand, Line the Label, paired with a green dress by Italian vintage-inspired label P.A.R.O.S.H and strappy beige stiletto heels by Aquazzura.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have already wished the couple well, saying in a statement:

"We are very excited for Harry and Meghan.
"It has been wonderful getting to know Meghan and to see how happy she and Harry are together."
