Arcfox-7: Electric supercar hits 62mph in less than 3.0 seconds
Styled in Spain and inspired by Formula E racecars, it packs a 603bhp electric motor

Motorsport, so often the breeding ground for next-generation production cars, has just spawned another one. Only this one has no engine.
No, it’s not a soapbox. It’s the Arcfox-7, just unveiled by Beijing Automotive Industry Corporation.
Naturally enough, BAIC lifted the wraps on its new electric supercar at its hometown show. Styled in Spain and inspired by Formula E racecars, it packs a 603bhp electric motor that’ll whisk it to 62mph in less than three seconds.

Just as importantly, a 6.6kWh battery gives the car a range of more than 185 miles. Not at a constant 160-plus mph, maybe but it’ll go that fast if you ask it.

Further features are pure supercar – carbon ceramic brakes, 4-point harnesses and so forth. Oh, and gull-wing doors.
Pah, we’ve had cars with those for decades. Future, schmuture. So how do we start the thing? What do you mean ‘fingerprint scanner?’
