Michael Muller (right) has been appointed managing director of Bell & Howell's Mail Processing Systems Europe and Asia Pacific. He retains his role as European managing director of Bell and Howell's information management division, while Chris Ronaldson takes over operational control of the division. Robert McBratney joins the Information managemet Division as business development manager.

Marmaduke Hussey, former BBC chairman, has been appointed a non-executive chairman of Cadweb Ltd, providers of a new online project database for the construction industry.

Martin Hayton is to become human resources director for Cable & Wireless Communications plc. Mr Hayton is currently the human resources director for Hong Kong Telecommunications Ltd.

Gatton Consulting Group has acquired DECexecutive, the contract recruitment division Digital Equipment Company. DECexecutive supplies skilled IT specialists to Digital customers throughout the UK.
