Hitler guilty: Adolf Hitler Kwok Kin-wing yesterday lost his appeal against conviction of molesting a 17-year-old schoolgirl in Hong Kong. He said he had chosen his name after studying the Second World War in school, but pleaded that he was shy and had psychological problems, and said: "I have no one to talk to."

Mules guilty: Greek police have arrested 12 mules found carrying about two tonnes of cannabis from Albania into Greece. The animals were trained to follow mountain paths. "We really don't know what to do with them," said a police officer.

Heron in love: Mr Jim Bull, of Newport, Isle of Wight, has had to remove a troublesome plastic decoy heron from his garden. He had installed it to frighten away a real heron that had been eating his fish and frogs, but the real bird fell in love with it and started performing mating dances around it every night.
