A Nepalling situation: Under new regulations, members of the Nepalese parliament will not be allowed in the house wearing bathroom slippers, jeans or funky glasses. Increasingly sloppy attire - including one member arriving in bare feet - has led to a new uniform dress code.

Ambulance chasers: The ambulance in which John F Kennedy's assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald, died has been sold for $7,500 at an auction in Florida. It was part of a sale disposing of the exhibits in the late EL Gough's "Tragedy in US History Museum". The Buick in which Jayne Mansfield died remained unsold.
