A London health authority has launched a campaign to prevent unnecessary calls to GPs after hours. The campaign by Kingston and Richmond Family Health Services Authority, is part of a national initiative backed by the NHS and the British Medical Association, to remind patients that during these times GPs are on call for emergencies only.
Posters to appear in GPs surgeries will carry the slogan: Be nice - think
twice. Can it wait until morning?
