Newsbrief: Quiet achievers

Twelve contracting firms will receive awards tomorrow for working cleanly and quietly. The Considerate Contractors Scheme, now in its fifth year, was set up by the London Docklands Development Corporation and Tower Hamlets council to acknowledge the measures taken by firms to control noise and dust and keep public areas clear and tidy.
