Nicki Minaj has given birth to her first child with husband Kenneth “Zoo” Petty, according to reports.

The rapper and Petty welcomed the baby on Wednesday, 30 September in Los Angeles, according to People.

As of now, the baby’s name has not been revealed.

The news of the birth comes after Minaj announced in July that she was pregnant with a series of photos shared to Instagram.

“Love. Marriage. Baby carriage. Overflowing with excitement & gratitude. Thank you all for the well wishes,” the Yikes singer captioned one of the photos showing her posing on a pink couch and cradling her pregnant stomach, while another read: “#Preggers.”

Minaj and Petty got their marriage license in June 2019, before announcing that they were married in October 2019 with an Instagram video showing Mr and Mrs mugs and baseball caps with "Bride" and ″Groom" written across the front.

A month before revealing that she had gotten married, the 37-year-old announced her intention to retire and start a family.

"I've decided to retire and have my family," she wrote on Twitter in September 2019. "I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it till da death of me, in the box - cuz ain't nobody checkin me. Love you for LIFE."

Although Minaj has not publicly commented on the birth of the couple’s first child yet, her fans are already sharing well-wishes and congratulatory messages.

“@NICKIMINAJ congratulations queen, we can’t wait to see baby Minaj,” one person tweeted.

Another said: “My queen Nicki Minaj just had her baby. It’s a good day y’all.”
