NO-HEADLINE

LETTER

I have long been an admirer of the Weasel. But this week, I learned that you spent "last Sunday's spell of sunshine feeding the web-footed amphibians with one of the weaslets". Having had "wee yins" of my own, I can sympathise with a desire, at times, to dispose of them willy-nilly, but feeding them to the ducks has never particularly appealed to me.

As an ardent supporter of the Anatidae family, I must earnestly ask you to cease this practice at an early date.
