Clearly the Weasel has his difficulties with local wildlife (Up & Down Canary Wharf, 25 March), what with angry Canadian geese and hawks on leashes. But before moving house, caution is necessary.
Recovering from surgery a couple of years ago, I was tormented by the incessant, staccato chatter of two delinquent nesting magpies. Sleepless and desperate, I telephoned the RSPB, who could do nothing but said I could legally shoot them. A sensitive west Londoner, this I could not do, and so the pests returned. What to do, Weasel? Stay put in south London and suffer, shoot your Canada geese, or move to north London?
