Knifepoint muggings in Peckham have fallen by 30 per cent since the launch of a drive against street robbery two years ago. In the latest step, Southwark council launched a poster campaign yesterday targeting muggers as cowards who rob the old and the vulnerable. Arrests have risen by 50 per cent in the same period.
