The following are retail search terms around the world with the largest increase in hits for the week ending March 12, according to Experian Hitwise.*

Consumers in the United Kingdom were looking to bring a touch of the exotic into their bedrooms with " zebra print bedding" by far the search term showing the most growth in the UK.

Other popular retail-oriented search terms in the UK included discounts at high street store M&S with the phrase " Marks and Spencer sale online" and Reebok EasyTone trainers." The latter search term refers to Reebok's line of footwear which the company claim help tone "key butt and leg muscles with every step;" the products have been endorsed by celebrities such as Eva Mendes and are available to buy at http://www.reebok.com/GB/home.

The two retail search terms with the most growth in Singapore over the week ending March 12 were " Columbia Bull Run cargo shorts" and " Bobbi Brown mini-brush set." The first phrase refers to a line of outdoor sports shorts produced by Columbia and named after the famous running of the bulls in Pamplona, Spain. The shorts retail for around $48 and are available to by direct from Columbia's regional sites.

The second term refers to cosmetics retail site www.bobbibrowncosmetics.com and its range of makeup brushes; the company also sells a range of moisturizers and makeup.

Australian shoppers were searching for mobile provider " Vodafone," high street retailer " Woolworths" and " strawberrynet." Strawberrynet is a global retailer of cosmetics at discount prices - the company has regional sites across the world - at the time of writing the website http://www.strawberrynet.com/ was inaccessible.

Weekly retail search term data for the United States was unavailable on March 15, however the most visted website over the seven days prior to March 12 was www.amazon.com.
