Ahead of Monday’s “Icons Night” episode of DWTS, Banks shared a preview of her outfit on her Instagram Stories, where she showed herself lifting the top of a Versace box to show the recognisable green print inside.
“A little outfit hint for y’all…” the supermodel wrote.
In a second clip, Banks could be seen walking in the dress inspired by the gown Lopez wore to the 42nd Grammy Awards in 2000.
According to Banks, her version of the jungle print dress, which also featured a plunging neckline, a middle slit and a crystal belt, was created from Versace chiffon scarves.
The 46-year-old debuted the dress on DWTS while entering the stage to Lopez's song Jenny From the Block, before asking the audience: “What’s up America?”
Banks isn’t the only celebrity to recreate the dress that sparked the creation of Google Images - Lopez herself also wore an updated version of the dress in September 2019 while walking the runway at the Versace Spring 2020 fashion show in Milan.
During Icons Night, the former America’s Next Top Model host also paid tribute to Nicki Minaj with a metallic silver outfit and pink wig.
