Victoria and David Beckham share throwback photos of son Brooklyn to celebrate his 21st birthday

Victoria and David Beckham have shared touching tributes to their son Brooklyn on his 21st birthday.

The aspiring photographer is the couple’s eldest child and was born on 4 March 1999 at Portland Hospital in London before making his media debut five-weeks later in an OK! Magazine photoshoot.

On Wednesday, Brooklyn’s parents feeling nostalgic as they each posted throwback photos of their first-born to Instagram.

Alongside a photo of David wearing a white vest and resting newborn Brooklyn on one of his arms, Victoria wrote: “21 years ago today the most beautiful soul came into the world and changed our lives forever.

“Sensitive, sweet, kind and funny, you are our everything. I love you so much @davidbeckham xxx Happy Birthday @brooklynbeckham.”

Brooklyn commented on the touching tribute, writing: “ love you so much” alongside a series of red heart emojis.

Elsewhere, David celebrated his son turning 21 with a photo of Brooklyn as a child sitting on the edge of a pool with a swimming cap on and grinning widely.

“Happy 21st to my big boy,” the former England captain wrote.

“What more can I say about you other than you have grown into the most beautiful human being and that makes dad so proud. You are kind, passionate and caring and as a father that’s what you want to see in your son.”

The sports star continued by recalling some of his greatest memories with Brooklyn, including “lifting trophies in all the places that I won them”.

“For me that was always my dream...I love you bust have the most amazing day because u deserve it [sic].”

Brooklyn shared how he spent his birthday morning with his 12 million followers on Instagram, posting a story of a number of presents from his parents wrapped in paper decorated with photos of his own face.

“Love you mum and dad”, Brooklyn wrote alongside the photo.

Brooklyn’s girlfriend Nicola Peltz also posted a birthday tribute on Instagram, sharing a photograph of the couple alongside the caption: “Happy birthday to the love of my life. You have the most beautiful heart I’ve ever known.

The couple have been dating since October 2019. Peltz is an actor who has starred in films including Avatar: The Last Airbender, Transformers: Age of Extinction and Bates Motel.
