Bebe Rexha hits back at trolls who called her ‘tubby’

'I don't give a two s**** about what people think about my weight'

Bebe Rexha slammed body-shaming designers:'You wish you dressed my fat a**'

Singer Bebe Rexha has hit back at online trolls who criticised her weight, with one person labelling her “tubby”.

On Thursday, the 29-year-old pop star shared a photograph on Instagram and Twitter of herself performing in Cannes, France. In the caption, she wrote: “Unapologetically me”.

While the posts elicited a flurry of kind messages from fans, they also prompted several cruel comments, including one on Instagram reading: “you’re gaining a lot of weight tubby”.

But the “Meant To Be” singer immediately shut the criticism down, accusing the trolls of “just trying to get attention” in a tweet.

In subsequent tweets, Rexha added: “I don’t give a two s**** about what people think about my weight. I care about what I think about my weight.

“To all the people tweeting mean things to me about my weight you just want a response and you will not get it.

“Unless you are completely perfect you have no f***in right to talk about anybody else’s body. The hate you breed that stems from Insecurity don’t look pretty on you [sic].”

Rexha has since been inundated with messages of support, including one from singer Demi Lovato, who commented on Instagram: “You are GORGEOUS, strong, authentic and an inspiration to me and so many.

“Thank you for being you you BEAUTIFUL, beautiful woman. I love you.”
