NATIONWIDE Building Society is launching a pounds 20m Business Expansion Scheme issue that will invest in 400 properties repossessed by the society.

These will be rented under assured tenancy agreements. Investors are guaranteed a return equivalent to 13.52 per cent a year compound for a higher rate taxpayer after five years.
