THE INVESTORS Compensation Scheme has declared the firm Anthony Howard formally in default, allowing investors to make claims for refunds from the compensation scheme. The firm was suspended by Fimbra on 29 May and went into provisional liquidation on 12 June.

The scheme will be contacting known investors with the firm. Anyone who does not hear from ICS should contact it at Gavrelle House, 2-14 Bunhill Row, London EC1Y 8RA.

It is believed that about 25 investors are affected and up to pounds 2.5m is at risk.
