C&G rates trimmed

CHELTENHAM & Gloucester Building Society has cut interest rates on its London Share and Instant 7 accounts.

London Share, with a minimum investment of pounds 2,500, has a single rate of interest which falls from 6.25 per cent (4.69 per cent net) to 6.05 per cent (4.54 per cent net).

The C&G has also trimmed rates on its Tessa from 6.85 per cent to 6.65 per cent.
